Previous episodeNext episode
[continuity] The left arm of M. Bonacieux changes place from a view to another view, according to the way we see him (face or 3/4).
In the picture 4, the chair which is next to Jean in the picture 2 disappears.

[contradiction] When Jean and D'Artagnan are at Porthos home, Jean asks questions about Miss Charlotte. He asks:
Jean: Et comment est-elle physiquement ? (And how is she physically?)
Porthos: J'avoue que je l'ignore. Par contre, je sais que c'est la protégée de Monsieur de Rochefort. (I admit that I do not know that. However, I know that she is protected by M. de Rochefort.)
After that, Jean shows his drawing and the following dialog begins:
Jean: Monsieur Porthos. Regardez ce dessin. (M. Porthos. Look at this drawing.)
Porthos: Qui est-ce ? (Who is it?)
D'Artagnan: C'est le portrait de la mère de Jean. (It's the portrait of Jean's mother.)
Jean: Je l'ai dessiné moi-même. Qu'en dites-vous ? (I drew it myself. What do you think about it?)
Porthos: Ma foi, il y a des traits de ressemblance indéniables. (Well, there are undeniable resemblances.)
Jean: Vous en êtes sûr ? (Are you sure?)
Porthos: Oui, pour autant que je puisse en juger, attendu que je ne l'ai entrevue qu'une seule fois. (Yes, as I can judge, according that I saw her briefly only one time.)
Porthos contradicts himself against the moment when he said that he did not know how she was physically.
[incoherences] When Charlotte keeps one's gun trained on Jean, Rochefort stands beside her. The musket is pointed at Jean. How can it be then pointed on Rochefort at the time when the shot leaves? That would mean that Charlotte swivelled of almost 90° which is not very probable since her attention is on Jean.
